So now we are making a movie trailer in my class and so far it's looking really good. The project idea or what were going for is to make a trailer about a man who gets lost and has a pair of glasses that allow him to see these shadowy creatures. Not only do we get to make a movie trailer but we also get to/have to make a movie poster that goes with it. I feel like I have been more of an idea man throughout this project just telling my teammates whether or not they like it. I am also in charge of scene five which I planned out , did I also mention that I'm gonna be an actor, so the idea guy the editor guy and the actor are all my roles.
The hardest part of this project I would say is meeting up and the fact that we had to team up with people we didn't work with before. I say meeting up because I am really depended on because I am the main person on the camera but I had basketball practices and games. It's kinda hard to work with new people (and i'm not saying their impossible to work with) especially since my other group back when I did metamorphosis we are all used to each other. We had some successful things that happened though like when we actually got to film and I wasn't busy. That day went super well we got I would say at least half of our story shot on that day not only that but we already had like forty percent done and that leaves with only ten percent unfinished
The critique for the movie trailer couldn't have gone any better for me and my team. First off we got a pretty good grade which I am happy and proud of. Secondly my team tied for best movie trailer in the whole class(I screen shotted the pic below to early we actually tied with don't say it). I learned that communication is key no matter what you are doing in life. My team at first didn't have much communication and we kinda sucked. After a while of miscommunication though me and my team managed to start communicating and finish strong thanks to my teammates Jason, Micah and Linden
