Hello all you blog enthusiasts we all now it's a new year and that means some new goals! I hope to get a fryer in 2016 because I could make so much things such as fries and yummy delights with the fryer I worked hard for. Another goal I personally have is I wish to learn how to make an original style yeast doughnut with my grandma. A third goal is to learn my grandma's signature bakes such as her amazing custard pie and mini chocolate chips, that are freshly made by scratch and are some times fundraised by my family. The fourth would have to be able to control my temper more often when it get's out of hand. My last goal would have to be to be more organized and clean when it comes to my room!
I'm gonna have to say that learning how to make my grandma's signatures would be most important. She even said her self that someone has to learn how to do these, and I personally am honored to learn her recipes. These recipes are what get's my family money for fundraising and that's pretty important! Not only that but one of signatures witch would be her custard pie my grandpa said she should write please eat responsibly. By this I mean one person ate the whole pie and didn't give their children or beloved one any piece.
So far I am taking it step by step and learning the basics of cooking with my grandma. We made cake doughnuts that don't have yeast and we made funnel cake that was crunchy. But were taking baby steps until I reach her awesome signatures! So all i'm doing is going over to her house when I can and she can and learning more and more about baking. Step by step, day by day and recipe after recipe is how I'm gonna learn how to make her signatures.
